Those misadventurous muslims in South Carolina were now admittedly not so so innocent after all.
Michelle Malkin catches this afternoon's guilty plea.
The Plea Agreement also finally lays to rest what the substance in question was that was suspect in the homemade pipe bombs - according to the plea, "several sections of PVC pipe containing a potassium nitrate mixture, compacted between plugs of kitty litter, and approximately 20 feet of safety fuse". The plea further acknowledges that there were "seperate containers with several gallons of gasoline and a potassium nitrate mixture".
So, going back in time, it was common sense and not just background experience to assume that the pipe in question, having caps and/or fuse(s) attached, (let alone ammonia laden KITTY LITTER and potassium nitrate mixtures!) were in fact pipe bombs.
The defendant pleading today, Ahmed Abdellatif Sherif Mohamed, faces up to 15 years and a fine of $250,000.00 for admittedly providing support to terrorists.
